Growing Pains is a coming-of-age photographic series that captures the intense experience of growing up and leaving your adolescence behind, with key themes of nostalgia, girlhood and change, inspired by experiences of my own and those close to me.

 All these images here are taken by me, and even though the project began as a personal idea, I have now reached out to a fellow creative who specialises in graphics as I would like to expand the project by creating physical media e.g collaborative magazines created by a group of young people.

The photographs showcased are taken on film, giving the images an authentic and non-expiring feel. These photos are connected to me by emotion and feeling, and as my main goal in life is to capture the human experience, I will continue to document the phenomena of growing up: from its struggle to its euphoria.
